What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They help the site remember things about your visit — such as whether you've accepted our cookie notice — so you don't have to repeat actions on every page or visit.

Cookies don't contain executable code and can't access other files on your device. They're widely used across the web to make sites work more reliably and to help owners understand how their sites are being used.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active — required for the site to function

Always On

These cookies are needed for basic site operation. They include your cookie consent preference stored in localStorage so we don't show you the banner on every visit. You cannot disable essential cookies without affecting how the site works.

Examples: cookieConsent (localStorage), session security tokens.

Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how visitors use the site

Analytics cookies collect information about which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they came from. We use this data in aggregate to improve our content and site structure. No individual is identified.

Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid). Duration: up to 2 years.

Marketing Cookies

Used for advertising relevance

Marketing cookies may be set by advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show relevant content elsewhere online. We currently do not run active advertising campaigns, but these cookies may be set if we do in the future.

Examples: Facebook Pixel (_fbp). Duration: up to 3 months.

Preference Cookies

Remember your settings between visits

Preference cookies allow the site to remember choices you've made (such as region or display settings) so you don't have to set them again on your next visit.

Examples: language, display preferences. Duration: up to 12 months.
